Golfing is one of the largest pastimes in America, let alone the world. From the time of Caesar all the way to the time of Tiger Woods, golf has made its impact known on history. Golf as we know it today found its origins in Scotland back in 1457. It was so popular that King James II banned the game, as it took away from people training for the military. Today, it is equally as popular.

Something we have today that golfers did not have back in those times is technology. Today, we have access to apps, hardware, and software that works together to give us some exciting information that we never had access to before. With apps, for example, one can track how they do with each club, the distances they hit their golf balls, and how they are doing overall on a course. This is an fabulous time to be a golfer because of these technological advances.

Herein, I discuss three different apps that you can use to improve your golf game at different price points for different levels of interest.

1) FunGolf

FunGolf is a free app that gives you the ability to see your position on golf courses, suggests your choice of clubs, and gives you a 3D map of each golf course you are on. It also tracks your golf shots and connects with your Smart Watch, if you have one.
